Eventpoker has been established to promote and manage poker tournaments. Eventpoker will run a series of poker tournaments at official venues over a 4 week period. Players are awarded points per event and these are collated onto our web site to show a league table. At the end of each 4 week period, the leading 2 point scorers in the league will advance to a regional monthly final along with the qualifiers from the other pubs in your area. The top 8 finishers in these regional finals advance onto a grand final and the chance to win big prizes. There is also a Landlords Challenge tournament where the top four point scorers compete against players from pubs local to their venue, for a trophy and prize money.

Eppl’s Responsibilities:

• Supply all necessary documents to stage the event on the night
• Supply all poker table tops, chips, cards etc
• Coach and help new players if required
• Give ongoing support as and when required
• Display league tables on our web site
• Notify all qualifiers of their finals venues and dates
  
  Players:

• Only eppl members are permitted to participate in the tournaments.
• Membership is FREE and available on the night
• Membership cards will be provided and should always be presented.
• All players must be over 18
  
  Advertising and Promotion:

• The venue will help to promote the event locally by gaining interest from its clientele, posting adverts, and talking to the local
  press to gain free articles. Advertising posters and printed material will be provided by eppl.

Prizes for weekly tournaments:

• The event must comply with the 2005 gaming and licences act, which stipulates that a maximum prize pool of £100 per day per venue only can be given out. Therefore in order to adhere to the law, ep does not give out any prizes for weekly tournaments. All players will pay a stake of £2.00 per game, per week, towards a prize pool which will be paid out in prize money at the quarterly and monthly finals.
  
Venues:

• Agree to pay a weekly charge of £20. Arrangements can be made to make payments by cheque, cash or Standing order. Payment methods and dates to be agreed with an eppl official.
• Agree that the details of the venue will be put on the eventpoker.co.uk web site.
